System Automatically Starts

My PC starts up automatically at random times. I shutdown the system
normally at night and when I go to startup in the morning, it's already
running and at a login prompt. The last two days, the system has started at
approximately 0403 and 0627 respectively by event log messages. I am running
XP Home Edition with SP2 installed. All updates are current (automatic
update is on). I have deselected "Automatically Restart" on System Failure.
There are no scheduled jobs and nothing in BIOS settings to startup on
hardware transitions. I recently replaced the power supply because the old
one failed. I would like to stop the random startups.

Wake on lan?
If the pwr supply (at the wall) is disconnected it cannot start.

To test, you could try disconnecting the LAN cable while the
computer sleeps. Ethernet RJ-45 can be plugged and unplugged
without harm. It it still wakes up, then it is probably
something else.
