System 32 folder

System 32 folder appears on startup. Reinstalled AOL and scanned for viruses.
No joy. Any help gratefully received

Many thanks for this. Sadly I am not an experienced user and feel a bit
uncertain about playing with the registry. Is there any way to get online
help? I am using a new Dell machine so may try and contact them. Thanks again

This can be caused by a blank entry, such as can be left behind by
an incomplete program removal, in the
HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run and/or
HKCU\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run keys. It can also
be caused by an entry in these same keys that starts with a " / ."
