just started useing xp and need to make a couple of images
for more pcs, i ran the sysprp tool years ago on w2k but
but seems to change a bit since can anyone give me some
info on it e.g. were is the sysprep tool and any mager
changes

i ended up doing a google search for download sysprep xp
and was linked to the zip sysprep files sorry i dident
catch the adress, the new one looks great especialy the
setupmgr had a quick look and seems very handy

I've recently used SysPrep. According to Microsoft it is
primarily a tool for OEM's. There are settings that will
be lost by using SysPrep. For a small number of deploys
you might be better served by using a SysInternals tool
called NewSid. This will allow you to "Clone" your PC's
and avoid Mini-Setup and other SysPrep features.
