SYSPREP

James

I want to use SYSPREP to clonate a new computer

1.- How can I create a startup disk (the disk can be DOS
or can be a windows 98 starup disk?)

2.- Do I need that the startup disk have files to connect
to the LAN (where can I find this?). How can connect a
cmomputer from DOS to the LAN?

3.- The starup disk must have the ghost to clonate the
computer or can be another disk?

4.- Any other info...........

Thanks for your help.

Sysprep will only prepare the source image. After you sysprep and shut
down, you can use ghost to copy your image to a server and ghost has tools
to create a bootable floppy used to deploy your image. Check out the ghost
documentation.

You need the target machines to have the same hardware as the source
machine.
