I have just discovered SyncToy and would be really happy if I could get it to
connect to remote sites in 'My Network Places'.

It's working for me. That's one of the new features of this release.

Have you read the Help file? It explains how to sync to a network
share.

Where is it failing for you? How are you naming the network share?

I do not have a UNC (\\server\dir1\dir2\) for my 'remote site', only a URL
(http:\\site\dir1\dr2) which SyncToy will not accept.

any ideas?
