Synchronizing Local OST file on Notebook with Exchange Data Store

I just migrated my client from ISP provided e-mail to an internal Exchange
2003 Server. How do I ensure that a user of OWA sees all of their past
e-mails, contact, calendar appointments, etc. in their OWA in-box when they
log in to OWA? In other words, everything that was in their .PST file on
their notebooks prior to the migration. Right now, all they're seeing is
e-mail, etc. that's been generated since the cut-over from ISP e-mail. All
clients are running Outlook 2003 in Cached Exchage mode.

The user will need to use Outlook (not OWA) to copy or move all the data in the .pst file into the mailbox folders.

Is it an ost or a pst, if its a pst then you have to either open the pst in
outlook and drag/drop the info or import the information in by using the
import utility on the File menu

You can use Exmerge on the Exchange server to import the PST file data to
the user's mailbox.
You'll need the PST files to be named appropriately (exchange_alias.pst) and
have them in a central location, and will need to be using an account that
has sufficient permissions to access all mailboxes. Post in
microsoft.public.exchange.admin for more help with this. Make sure you take
a look at the size of the PST file & make sure it isn't larger than the
allowed mailbox quota (which you really should have set up already).

Otherwise, as Sue mentioned, you or the user will need to use Outlook to
open the PST file and move/copy items to the new mailbox....I don't
recommend importing mail as it has caused me problems in the past, but
importing a calendar or contacts folder works fine.
