synchronizing 2 outlook .pst files

I have a desktop pc and laptop using winxp and outlook 2002. I synchronize
outlook stuff between
the two via a pocket pc device. I was recently on vacation and made alot of
changes to outlook on
my laptop but am unable to sycronize back to my desktop because the battery
on my ipaq went
completely dead. How do I synchronize the desktop .pst file with the laptop
..pst file without
using the pocket pc?

If you just want to replace everything on your desktop then just copy the
..pst file from laptop to desktop (take a backup of the desktop .pst first).
If you want to merge changes made on both machines, you will have to use a
third party tool (there are some at www.slipstick.com)

If the OP pastes the copied pst file in the same location as the existing
one, the OP runs a very real risk of corrupting the Outlook profile.....
