when you add a video with audio, it will be in syn. MM2 will automatically split the video and audio in the timeline; But if you are planning to change/split the video but keep the associated audio the way it is, then what you have to do is copy/paste the audio from "audio" to "audio/music" in tmeline (and set volume in "audio" to mute);
