Synchronization Error

i have win xp pro on laptop. i have all files on server and it will not
synchronize the offline files. on the server side it has permissions set for
full access. on the laptop i can access the files on the server but when it
tries to sync it says access denied on the server. why is this? access id
not denied anywhere but through sync? i can access anything and everything
and have full rights . i can delete etc.. but when i travel and come back it
will not sync my files. it tells me i need to and i get connected to network
through my lan cable in office then it says for each individual file that
access is denied. can anyone point me in the right direction. i have turned
sync off and back on and i cannot get nothing to sync? please advise. thanks!

It doesn't sound like the Offline Files are configured properly. If
your files are on the server, then the "sync" places the files on your
laptop, not the server. Is there enough hard disc space on the laptop?

How is the server folder set up? Is "My Documents" pointing to it? Has
the folder location changed from one server to another by chance? This
would require a re-initialization of the cache (in Explorer click Tools,
Folder options, Offline files. Hold down Shift and click on the "Delete
files" button).
