synchronization across computers

I am really worried and hesistant to do anything with outlook.

Hope somebody can help me out.

My dilemma:
I have to synchronize my outlook 2003 (with email accounts/folders and
emails etc) between 2 laptops. I connect either of them to the internet
frequently. So synchronization has to be mutual. I don't have the money
to buy PST sync softwares etc. I read slipstick.com, but not clear
enough.

Hope somebody can let me know exactly what to do.

Thanks,

drb

Hi drb,

without any kind of 3rd party software you could use a thumbdrive (USB
stick) and store the PST file on this thumbdrive.

Now you can work with the same PST file on the PC and on the Notebook if you
switch the thumbdrive between PC and Notebook.

Another idea on slipstick is the "Briefcase" scenario:

Sorry, where can i locate the pst files?

If possible, could you please also let me know how to archive my
emails? currently it is taking a long time for my outlook to open as I
haven't archived anything. If I archive will that speed up?

Thanks,

drb
