Synchronisation problems with new ipod nano

Hi, I wonder if anyone can help with this one...I have a new nano 8Gb,
and am running iTunes 7. I put on a couple of albums to check that it's
synching OK, but no success so far. The information pane about the nano
in the iTunes window lists the nano as having a capacity of just under
56Gb, which is clearly wrong - i think this might be linked to the
problem, but don't know how to fix it or diagnose further. Thx in
advance for any helpful suggestions

Check on the Apple/iTunes forums or with their tech support.

if you are not running itunes 7.02 then get it - both 7.00 and 7.01 were a
total mess.
