Sync Blackberry with Outlook 2000

Our OS is Windows XP sp1. When we install a new blackberry on someone who
already has a blackberry installed, but gets a new one we cannot sync it.
We have the latest software from Blackberry. This is the message we get.
"Faulting application desktopmgr.exe, version 3.6.2.9, faulting module
ilxolk.fil" Our Exchange backend is 2003. It is driving us a little crazy.
Any help would be appreciated.

Hi - this doesn't sound like an Outlook issue.
Are you using Blackberry Enterprise server?
Have you checked Blackbery support for the desktop manager/intellisync
issues?

We do use Blackberry Enterprise server. I did check Blackberry site but
could not find anything. I will recheck using desktop manager/intellisync.
