Windows XP Symantec Tamper Protection Alert

Hi there fellas,

Need your expertise guys.

I have setup a file server for a small organization with 20 users so they can just dump and share their files with others.

The machine has the following hardware specification:
Desktop Model: IBM Lenovo ThinkCentre Desktop 9380-CTO
OS:WinXP Sp2
Process: Core 2 Duo 1.8GHz
RAM: 1GB
HDD: 160 GB
Other Applications: MS Office 2003, SAV client 10.1.5.5000

So the big picture here is I keep on receiving below error in my Application Log in eventvwr whilst I don't see any major error in the system logs.

I have also noticed that everytime i run a manual liveupdate I also get this error. Any idea what does this mean?

Hi John,

As you have mentioned that you are using SAV client 10.1.5.5000; it is a known issue with SAV 10.1.5 and IBM Lenova. This is caused due to IBM Away Manager... Please find the link which has the information on the same and upgrading to SAV 10.1.6 should take care of the issue....
