I keep getting these alerts on my computer.
SYMANTEC TAMPER PROTECTION ALERT
Target: C:\Program Files\Common Files\Symantec Shared\COH\COH32.exe
Event Info: Allocation Memory
Action Taken: Logged
Actor Process: C:\Program Files\Network Associates\VirusScan\Mcshield.exe (PID 1644)
Time: Tuesday, March 04, 2008 5:22:25 AM

The only thing that changes is the event info. It either says Allocation Memory, Write Memory, or Resume Thread. What do these mean? I have gotten 53 of them in like 6 hours. What do i need to do to get rid of whatever its alerting me about?

Try Reinstalling Norton, this should solve this problem. If this does not then it might be worth just checking you ram with Memtest 86+ downlaod that and make it as a bootable cd, then run it for at least 2hours and if any errors come up then this means that you ram is faulty.

I hope this helps,
