Symantec Speed Disk Doesnt Work with W2K SP-4

After installing W2K SP-4 from CD-ROM, Norton Speed Disk
Version 5.1.2.253 no longer functions. Is there a
downloadable fix for this? Other Norton stuff seems to
continue to work OK, though I seldom use anything other
than Speed Disk.

Robert,

SpeedDisk (not using Microsoft's defrag APIs) is SP dependent. You can try
to run SpeedDisk (at your own risk) or wait until Symantec comes out with an
update that officially supports SP4. This is one of the reasons why
Symantec no longer makes an enterprise (server) version of SpeedDisk and
recommends a different product instead.
