Switching to application mode

I am running windows 2000 server, exchange 2000 and an sql programs. I need
to switch to application mode on my terminal server and it gives me a message
that says some of these application might not work and might need to be
reinstalled. If I change to application mode will it effect my programs for
my local users? Also can I change this mode remotely?

Applications that do not store user spoecific application data (registry
entries, & ini files) will be fine, however applications that do, i.e.
Microsoft Office, or any other client application will need to be uninstalled
and reinstalled after you switch to Application Server Mode.

I hope you are not running Exchange, SQL Server & TS on the same machine.
