Switch to application mode at a later time

Hi all,
one of my clients needs to switch a 2k server from remote
administration to application mode.
The problem is that during the installation, it sends out a warning
that some applications may not work after the switch. Basically they
are some windows update patches or video drivers, so I can reinstall
it, but one of them is SQL 2000 server. Can I safely switch to
application mode, or the server may stop working?

Should be fine. This is referring to end user applications that store
per-user configuration data, like Microsoft Office.

How many concurrent sessions do they plan on running on this server?

If it's more than 10 they should consider a dedicated terminal server.
