Switching the hard drive vista is installed on

I just added a new Sata 3gb/s hard drive to my computer with 500gb of space.
The original hard drive that I installed Vista to was much smaller and now is
out of space. I can barely even update and will soon not even be able to do
that. I was wondering if their was a way to copy my Vista installation from
one hard drive to the other. My main concern is keeping all of my installed
programs, games etc.
any help is extremely appreciated Thanx

You could image the drive, replace with much larger drive, then restore
image to the new much larger drive.
If you have Vista Business or Ultimate, you can use the Vista Backup program
and select the full backup type of backup.
