In my database (which is almost finished) I was building a
switchboard. In the middle of working my switchboard (the
default one), I decided it needed to change drastically
and thus I decided to delete it and start with a new one.
I deleted my switchboard in the form menu (of access
2002). When I went to the switchboard manager, it says my
switchboard is still there. My problem... I have since
created a new switchboard and designated it the default
through switchboard manager (tools/switchboard manager).
However, my problem is: I can't see my switchboard from
the form view. This poses a huge problem as I cannot open
and edit my switchboard!!!!! HELP! How can I get the
switchboard to be seen in my forms menu!

Thanks,
Kendra

Kendra,

Possibly, your Switchboard Mgr is saying "it is still
there" because you deleted the Switchboard FORM but did
not also delete the Switchboard TABLE. Delete the table
and build another Switchboard using the manager.

You have deleted the Switchboard Form without deleting the [Switchboard
Items] Table.

If you want to keep the existing items, rename the Table to some temporary
name (so that the Switchboard Manager can't find it), use the Switchboard
Manager to re-create the Form, which will also create a new [Switchboard
Items] Table. After that you can delete the new [Switchboard Items] Table
and re-name the old Table to the correct name.
