Switch user option does not work

I have already checked the boxes in my user account for switch user option. Well still when I click switch user it goes to the welcome screen, but I can not log-in with another user account unless my previous account is not loged off completely. When I just try to enter in different account, it flashes and come back to welcome screen. If u have any solution for this, please let me know.
Thanks in Advance.

Usually this happens when you're running a program that is not compatible
with fast user switching. You need to experiment with the various programs
you leave open and with what is allowed to run in the background to find
the right mix.

Follow this:

Control Panel > User Accounts > Change the way users log on and off

there the logon formats are there chose one. Note before being able to use
the FAst User switch, you have to uninstall Client Services for NetWare in
the network Properties. Then get back there and click fast user switching

Good point, however, if the OP had Novell software installed, they would
not have the option to enable Fast User Switching at all. An earlier
version of PC Anywhere is also known to disable FUS.
