"sw" program is hanging when trying to shut down

When I am trying to shut down. I get a pop up window that says
sw program is not responding - click "end now" to close... and then the
system shuts down..
any ideas?

This is a Microsoft Access forum and I don't think that this is directly
related to Access. However sometimes that message happens and it's really not
a problem as long as it eventually shuts down. On the flip side it could be a
virus, trojan, worm, or spyware causing it. Update your virus and spyware
checkers and do a full scan with each.
