SVCHost Memory access error

S

Steve Cantrill

I recently installed a modem on my machine (WIN 2K Pro,
SP4). When online, I get a memory access error from
SVCHost. After this error, I can no longer disconnect from
the phone line (and have to unplug it from the wall).
(Modem is a SupraMax LE internal). Same problem occurred
with a Hayes external modem I was using before the
internal. Any suggestions/thoughts would be very much
appreciated.

Something that you may want to try is to uninstal it via add/remove hardwear, shut down , and then restart. reinstall it , then in you sys tray go to network settingsand make sure you are configured properly to what you are using. and another tink I would try is go to google ( if you can ) and look up the error mesage you get. just retype the error and click search, you will probibly find some usefull information there. Good luck
