Svchost- Local services

Hi
I use Xpp in my laptop. for the past few days, my process
speed is occupied by SVCHOST.EXE Local Services at 70% in
average, reducing my program responses.

This happens often and wonder what i must do to improve
my performance.

Please advice if you know the problem.

svchost is normally the process which houses all the service tasks, there
are normally 4 of them.
However some viruses pretend to be svchost processes aswell.

Run a scan over you system

And if you don't have any, get some free anti virus software.
