svchost errors

I am having svchost errors at random times, mostly in
I.E. and defrager. I have a new motherboard,video card,
modem. I replaced the hard drive, mouse, keyboard. I
disconnected all drives,cd and the problem remained.
I had this problem before the new hardware. I reloaded
2000 several times with the original and copy 2000 disks.

Hi Joe,

I've had the same problem, but after an install of SP4 and
update of everything else from windows-update, the problem
disappeared. I didn't update the IE (to version 6.xx), but
the rest I did.
