One of the SVCHOST.EXE process is draining all my meomry,
so I am at a constant 100% usage. Generally, it stay at
60-80%. This is slowing down my processing,
excrucitatingly slow. I am not a computer whiz; but I
need help.

Download Ad-Aware 6.0 and scan your PC for the presence of spyware:

I have had the same problem only intermittently. If I
reboot the problem goes away. I have always used NAV
and AdAware as well as SpySweeper. I do not have any
nasties running.
The problem is that under the particular SVCHOST there are
21 processes running and I don't know of a way to see
which one is using the CPU cycles.
Can you offer any advice?
Alan
