svchost and explorer.exe problem

G

Guest

When I turn on and log-on I often get a message from explorer.exe saying no
disk in floppy drive. Also PC has started crashing as soon as I log on.
Task manager shows svchost is using 100% of cpu usage. This used to happen
intermittently but now it's about 80% of times I try to log on.

Does anyone have any suggestions please?!

Important: Create a specific folder on your hard drive called
HijackThis to keep its backups.
You can do this by going to My Computer (Windows key+e) then double
click on C: then right click and select New then Folder and name it
HijackThis. Download and unzip HijackThis.exe into this folder.
