Suspicious Files ??

Hi Folks,

I have three files in my cookie directory
that will not delete.

Nortons & Ad-aware
don't pick them up, and I've Googled them
without success.

The 1st file name is: " rapiBridge.js?v=3.0_1 "

File type is: " JScript Script File "

Size is: 5KB

The 2nd file name is: " playmessenger "

File type is: " HTML Document "

Size is: 24KB

The 3rd File name is: " rapiCallURL.js?v=3.0_1 "

File type is " JScript Script File "

Size is: 2KB

All of the above files have rather lengthy URLs.

Any info in regard to what these files are, and how they can
be removed will be very much appreciated.

Best wishes

What happens if you delete them? Move them to another directory?

BTW, cross-post if you must, but don't multi-post.

Oh right, you did say "will not delete". How about renaming them
first? Or check the attributes to see if they are read-only? Close all
browsers first ...

Hail Mr. Shagnasty !

Upon right clicking these files, we find no facility to rename them.
Upon entering properties, we find no attributes for read-only, hidden or
archive.
Upon copying them, they are unabled to be pasted to a different location.

Thank you for your input.

Delete them from a true DOS prompt. Do a find file and write down their
directory. Then go to a DOS prompt and delete them.
