SUS Client Problems

Does anybody else have problems installing the SUS client?

I installed an SUS SP1 server today so I could deploy
updates quicker, but when I try to install the client
software, i receieve an error message stating "You need
Windows 2000 SP2 or Windows XP to install this software".
The machines I tested it on were a Windows XP SP1 machine
and a Windows 2000 SP4 machines.

Anybody else have this problem?

I have the same problem. On both Win2K SP4 and WinXP
SP1a. Need help Please

Both XP SP1 and W2K SP3 & SP4 already have the Automatic Update client
installed. Read the instructions which come with SUS, this is covered.

Stephen,

you can install this client only on windows2k+sp2 and windows xp without
sp1.
to use the new client, you need only the new file "wuau.adm"
