Hello,
Is Surprise removal or Unsafe removal a mandatory requirement for WHQL
certification?
I would like to know as Windows2000 and below pop-up a dialog box saying
unsafe removal for NDIS-WDM drivers unless supported by filter and I am
not sure if WHQL is OK with the filter drivers.
Also, Windows XP SP1 fails to identify the SURPRISE_REMOVAL_OK flag.
Someone who has been involved in the WHQL processes or someone from
WHQL, please reply.
Thanks in advance
Best Regards,
GNRaj
