Support for shutdown from UPS signal?

Windows XP had support in the Power options area of Control Panel for
UPS-initiated shutdown; I have one of the classic APC Back-UPS that uses a
serial port to connect to the computer and signal it to shut down if the AC
power fails. I cannot find settings for this in Vista RC2. Will I need to
resort to running Power Chute Plus, will it run on Vista? Can't seem to find
any thing in the help and support for UPS other than its definition.

Parallel port UPS devices will not interface with Vista it seems. Consider
that the parallel interface has been gone for about 3-4 years now. I am now
considering getting a newer UPS to handle this situation myself.

The UPS itself works fine. You just can not configure it at all.
