Supplemental Course to Access

I was wondering if any other course as an extra to help me
with Access programming. Would SQL be worthwhile? Does
someone have any course or book to suggest that would help
me?

It probably depends on what area you'd like to learn more about, but I
wholehearredly recommend Steven Roman's "Access Database Design And
Programming" for learning more about SQL and relational database concepts in
the context of Access. I love that book so much that I've purchased every
edition that's been released.
