Sun Java issue windows xp home edition centrino duo laptop

Hi,

I have an unsual problem. I recently bought a new Hp Pavilion Laptop Model
is Dv8263ea with a Centrino Duo laptop.

Whenever I try to use Sun Java, I get a very unsusal issue. This happens
whenever I try to load a java applet or use sun java web start sample that is
bundled with sun JRE. This issue also happens if i try to load the Java
control panel from the Control panel.

The issue is that I get a blank screen and I can see sometimes part of the
java webstart menu or part of the java applet dialog box asking permission to
run the applet. IT appears as if the application is thinking I am running a
21 inch plus screen and the resolution is changing.

Can anyone help out here? I want to use Sun Java and to get Java applets
working am actually using MSJAVA.

My OS is WindowsXp Home Edition with up to date patches and have tried
re-installing the latest video drivers.

Try do an update of jave first...
if not work then uninstall reboot install

I tried update and downgrade of java did not help

solved the problem by formatting the hard disk and re-installing the os and
java
