Sun Java - is it necessary to load again?

I've been running without Sun Java ever since I reinstalled my OS (and just
use MS Java). I also read various security site and Hijackthis threads and
it seems like when the AV programs catch trojans, they usually alot of
reside in those Java jar files.

Those Trojans can also run under MS JVM.
