suming instances in pivot table

i have uploaded screen shot of my pivot table at

in pivot table in the row area i want to count the occurance of
sales_doc_#.
when you look at my screen shot you will have a better idea on what i
want.

You can add a field to the source data, as described here:

http://www.contextures.com/xlPivot07.html#Unique

and use that field to count the occurrences of the sales_doc_#
