suggestion for "virtual desktops" solution?

Any recommendation for a stable app that offers virtual desktops?
(Eg. similar to desktop env. such as KDE or Gnome..)
Even for free would be nice..?

just curious as to why anyone would need these 'virtual desktop's' ?

i can see having 5 overly cluttered desktop instead of just one.

keep thing's (start menu, the drive hierarchy) clean and organized from the
start and you may find you don't need 'virtual desktop's'.

Yeah,
Indeed I stumbled on the powertoys one yesterday, however
it's not really good enough. Thanks for advice.

That's what I used to think too. But after I saw a someone how to work with
it it makes alot of sense and got hooked. In short, I have named Desktops
on the toolbar that I click on depending on what work I'm doing. There is
no cludder. It's alot more efficent than Alt-tabbing through a bunch of
apps...
