Hi,

I think it would be a good idea to receive feedback about posts. For
example, if you post a computer question or request for help with a
particular problem, and others post solutions to those problems or
questions, the one who posted could reply that it did or did not work. I am
by far not a computer whiz, but try to give input when I can and often I
search the internet for answers pertaining to questions that others post -
partly out of my own curiosity, but mostly because of a desire to help. A
lot of post never contain any replies saying "this worked" or "this didn't
work", so you never know. I know a lot of us probably get the solutions we
need and then we're done, but try to take time to let others know when
something works so others benefit. (Hope I made one bit of sense!) :)

Karl

PS...Thanks for all the great posts!

Right on Carl,
Folks are fast to commplain but very slow to give thanks when they receive
help...and this same thing applies to most other forums and has for
yeaars.

I agree with you as well, Carl. (Give credit to who credit is due)

Karl,
Your post should be required reading for all the help type newsgroups
Kudos to you, my man!

Karl, I think most of us who are regulars here would agree with
you, but unfortunately posts saying it *didn't* work are much
more common than those saying it did. That's because if it didn't
work, folks come back looking for another suggestion. If it did
work, they're happy and don't bother coming back to post saying
so.
