I running Outlook 2003 and am having some difficulty with the feature that
suggests names while completing To, Cc, and Bcc fields. In Outlook 2002, it
seemed like the names that got cached stayed in the cache forever and were
suggested when I created and email until I either deleted them manaually or
deleted the NK2 file.
In Outlook 2003, I've noticed that the addresses disappear from the cache on
a regular basis or if my *.NK2 file is somehow being deleted. I also cannot
seem to locate the NK2 file for some reason. So, my questions are as
follows:
What is the default location for the NK2 file in Outlook 2003?
Has anything changed in Outlook 2003 that changes how long an address is
considered "valid" in the cache.
Is there a way to control the length of time that an address stays in the
cache?
Thanks in advance.
