Suddenly very slow shutdown

S

Susan

Logging off has suddenly become very slow, I mean like 5
or more minutes saving settings. This happens whoever I am
logged in as. Does anyone have any suggestions as to how I
can speed things up. I'm not sure when it started doing
this but I think it may have began when one day I was on
line and my monitor just suddenly went blank. I had to
reboot, everything came back ok except this slow logout.
All suggestions welcome.

You might try this "fix" from Microsoft. It worked like a charm for
me. Hope it works as well for you. Get it here:
