Such simple thing, but need expert to answer this!

heh, maybe i am just too n00b

but! omg when my laptop goes to standby mode then turn it back on,

it will display my user information and i click on name then get back
to work. However, my user information displays someone else’s e-mail
account. Like it says i have 21 unreaded e-mails with
(e-mail address removed)’s account. I want to change it and i could not get
the answer by myself. I have tried going into control panels, played
with User account. When i tried to change .NET account, it was
already mine and I changed it again just in case. Also I have signed
out(which was already on my account) from hotmail.com then signed on
with mine, even msn messenger is on with my account. However only in
standby screen, it will display someone else’s e-mail account... It
should be an easy task but I can’t find a way!! someone help !!!!!!

You can delete this value [[email protected]] in the registry when logged on
your user account.

Open the Regedit (Start>Run>regedit).

Navigate to the following key:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\UnreadMail
then delete [[email protected]]

Then navigate to:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\UnreadMail\[Youremailaddress]

To disable:
Double-click MessageCount in the right-hand pane and change the value to 0.
To enable:
Double-click MessageCount in the right-hand pane and change the value to 1.
