Successful import, but data in field blank

I am importing data from Excel into Access. Everything works fine and I get
no errors from Access. However, when I open up the Access table to view the
data one column just has its header but no data. Yet there is data in the
Excel file for that column. In addition, when I query for that data Access
tells me it is there! Yet, I can't see it. When I try a search and replace
Access tells me it can't find it.

Have no idea what is going on.

Try making the row of data taller; the data may be on a "new line" within
the field.

How are you querying for the data? How are you trying to run the update? Can
you show us the queries' SQL statements that you're using for both
situations?
