SubWeb difficulty

I created several subwebs on my hosted webspace.

I inadvertantly changed permissions on one subweb to uniqe permissions and
now I cant access the subweb at all. I accept all my work in there is now
lost and I want to start from scratch.

I want to delete the subweb but FP2003 wont let me. If I try from the
administration page is says it does not exist. If I try from inside FP it
says web already there. If I try to publish a basic page over the subweb I
dont have permission then when I cancel it says there is no web do I want ot
create one? When I say yes it says Server Error web already exists.

I'm confused. I just want to kill that subweb and directory so I can start
over. How?
