Subtitle placeholder disappears

My Title Master has a Subtitle placeholder in Master View, but when I
go to Normal view, it disappears. I've tried deleting it and
recreating it, to no avail. Any suggestions?

Thanks - that narrows down the issues :-). Are you applying the title slide
layout to the slide?

does it come back when you change the font-size or the font itself of the
subtitle on the master?

OK, easy resolution. In slide layout, I applied the correct layout
and all fixed. Thanks, guys.
