subsystem startup error

i am getting an error message everytime i reboot on turn
my computer on, and i am hoping that someone can tell me
how to fix the situation before it causes something else
to go wrong!!! PLEASE!!!!

The error message is as follows:

16 Bit Windows Subsystem

C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\AUTOEXEC.NT. The system file is not
suitable for running MS-DOS and Microsoft Windows
applications. Choose "close" to terminate or Ignore.
