Subscript Alt Code

Are there Alt codes for subscripts available? If not, is it possible to
create them using eudedit or is that strictly for drawing symbols?

Copying subscripts directly from Word does not work and I cannot find any
subscripts in the character map. Any suggestions?

Subscripts are not characters by themselves - they are smaller
versions of standard characters that Word places lower (for
subscripts) or higher (for superscripts). You need a proper web
page editor, about which I know nothing.

superscripts. I found on my machine a tool that I had not used
for five years - it appears to be able to insert at least superscripts
into any text: 5²=25, 2³=8. Whether it can do subscripts I do
not know. This free program is called "AllChars for Windows"

I'm a big Allchars fan, and have recommended it here several times. I
have it running in the background all the time.

It lets me type many common special characters (many of these are used
in other languages) by pressing the ctrl key followed by a two
character mnemonic combination.

For example, for ñ the two characters are ~ and n. For ç it's c and ,
