Environment : OL2003 or OL2007 w/Exchange 2007

When I send a meeting request to a Room mailbox (new mailbox type in
Exchange) and then open the room's calendar it uses my name as the subject
line not the one in my request. I don't know if this is an Exchange 2007
'feature' but I don't recall it occurring w/Exchange 2003.

Can anyone share their experience/advice on this?

Tx

Yes, that is an Exchange 2007 feature, controlled by the administrator. Its purpose is to provide more privacy for meetings held in public rooms.

Best to ask about such things in the microsoft.public.exchange.admin group you cited.

Thanks, Sue

Do you know which server parameter controls this?

[BTW this post provides additional helpful info on mailbox access settings
on the server...

Set-mailboxcalendarsettings -identity '<<<mailbox alias>>' -deletesubject
$false
