Subform

I have created a subform. The subform will allow me to add / edit if
opened as a form, but once I place it as a subform in the main form,
it will not. I have double checked the "Allow Edits"... etc and all
are set to Yes. I've double checked the link type (long integer).
I've deleted the subform, created it from the main form and I've
deleted the subform, based it on a table. All these things to no
avail.

HELP!

Thanks,
Deb

Did you use the subform control wizard to link the subform in the mainform.
This may help to get a editable subform.

Best regards,

M.

Yes, I used the wizard. The fields that link are both long integer.
I've double checked the child / parent fields to ensure they are
correct after the wizard is finished.

Could you tell me once you have selected the subform control in your main
form in design mode, what the 6 property values on the second tab are
(starting with source object)?

there are 5 properties:
1. Source Object: tblFTagSurveyData subform
2. Link Child Fields: FSurveyData#
3. Link Master Fields: SurveyData
4. Enabled: Yes
5. Locked: No

In addition, I'm putting this subform on a tab of the main form. I've
done this before (several times) with no problem.

Thanks for your help AND your patience.
