The problem we are experiencing is when we make a change to an existing styke
the system creates a new style and changes the whole document that has that
style If we make 10 changes , we now have 10 styles of the same style,
slightly differnt (a highlighted word...etc)
Can anyone please help!!!

Those aren't real styles, they're just clutter. To get rid of them, go to
Tools > Options > Edit and uncheck "Keep track of formatting".

Jay, Thank you so much for the idea, I am going ot call my team out in
Colorado and have then try this right away.
