what does not in sync mean?. don't have software,
windows pops up then black screen back and forth. not in
sync pops up. can't get past windows logo.help a.k.
 
It means your monitor settings are too high.
Start XP in safe mode........F8 right after the BIOS screen.........and fix from
there.
