Stuck in safe mode

I restarted the computer in safe mode because of spyware, but now I can't get
out of safe mode. When I restart the computer, it just goes back into safe
mode. Hitting F8 and selecting normal mode does not work. System restore
won't restore back to any of the save points. How do I get out?

ok the 1st thing I would do is see if your anti virus program is causing it
to keep going back into safe mode...DISABLE YOUR ANTI VIRUS....then try to go
back to normal mode. Nortons for example is famous for auto protecting the
system and not letting you reboot windows in normal mode. then if that fails
to fix the problem,
(you didn't say what you uninstalled and maybe uninstalled somthing you
shouldn't have) as last resort use the restore discs that came with your
system, since you are not able to roll system back to earlier configuration.
keep in mind if you do full reformatt you will lose any and all files not
backed up. if you can back up your files do so before using the discs.
please post back and let us know if this info helped. or if you should
require further help continue using this thread for responses as creating a
new one will only delay your fix.

Win XP Stuck In Safe Mode
a.. Use One Of The Methods Below
a.. Method #1
a.. Close all programs
b.. Click Start
c.. Click Run
d.. Type in
msconfig
e.. Click OK
f.. The System Configuration Utility will appear, uncheck the
/SAFEBOOT option
g.. Click OK
h.. Click Restart
b.. Method #2
a.. The boot.ini file could be causing this problem
b.. The file's content should normally look something like this:
[boot loader]
timeout=30
default=multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOW S
[operating systems]
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS="Microsoft Windows XP
Professional" /fastdetect
c.. The content of the file should look just like the one above, but
if you see the following option just after the /fastdetect parameter at the
end of the file: /safeboot:minimal remove it and your problems should be
solved if you only have a single operating system installed

c.. Method #3
a.. This one might work, might not. One person said this was the only
thing that worked for them.
b.. To me if this worked most likely the Printer Driver or Fax Driver
was corrupt and replacing them first should solve the problem.
c.. Disabled the following two Microsoft Start Up Services
a.. Fax
b.. Print Spooler
