stuck in publish to ftp

Because of inaccurate information from my Web hosting service, I tried to publish via ftp. Ever since, when I try to publish from Frontpage 2002 to the http address (I hit the change button), it goes right back to the ftp address. How can I get this "unstuck"?

If you did in fact publish to your web using FTP, and extensions were
installed, you need to first contact your host to run a check and fix on the
extensions, or reinstall them, as they are most likely corrupted.

Then, use the File | Publish command, and properly input the web site URL to
http publish. Do not use just the plain "publish" command, which only
remembers the last address published to.
